1. Purpose
These Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship between Atelier Hecate (hereinafter “the Seller”) and any person making a purchase on atelierhecate.com (hereinafter “the Customer”).
2. Seller identification
Atelier Hecate, house of esoteric creations, reachable by email at contact@atelierhecate.com.
3. Products and availability
The products offered are made-to-order garments and prints, described on their product pages (fabric, fit, care). Visuals are for illustration purposes only. Since every piece is made to order, availability continues as long as the product page is online.
4. Prices
Prices are indicated in US dollars (USD), taxes included, excluding shipping costs. Shipping fees are shown before order confirmation. The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time; products are invoiced at the rate in effect at the time of the order.
5. Orders
The order is confirmed after acceptance of these Terms and payment confirmation. A confirmation email summarizes the order. The Seller reserves the right to refuse an order in case of previous dispute or suspected fraud.
6. Payment
Available payment methods are indicated at checkout. Transactions are secured. Note: the store is currently in preview — online ordering is not yet open. This section will be completed when payment is activated.
7. Production and shipping
Pieces are made to order within 2 to 5 business days, then shipped according to the times listed on the Shipping & Returns page. In case of delay, the Customer is notified by email. Delivery is deemed complete upon handover of the parcel; in case of anomaly (damaged or missing parcel), the Customer must file a claim with the carrier and inform us within 48 hours.
8. Right of withdrawal
Customers based in the European Union have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of delivery, without justification, under articles L. 221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code. The product must be returned unworn, unwashed, in its original packaging. The refund is issued within 14 days of receiving the return. In addition, Atelier Hecate offers an extended 30-day return policy (see Shipping & Returns).
9. Warranties
Products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects under applicable law.
10. Liability
The Seller’s liability cannot be engaged in case of non-performance due to force majeure, or for any indirect damage resulting from the use of the products.
11. Intellectual property
Designs and illustrations remain the property of Atelier Hecate. Any reproduction without authorization is prohibited.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, the Customer may refer to a consumer mediator free of charge, within one year of their written complaint to the Seller. The Customer may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Failing an amicable agreement, French courts have jurisdiction.
